Check it, yo. And lookee at the pretty pictures! Oh, you better believe that this is a peanut butter cups alert!
And, holy cow, I need to find a new level for the steampunk! lego! starwars figures!
Which on of you want to make me this?
Check it, yo: Someone made a lego Stephen Hawking.
In all honesty, this isn't a full on peanut butter cups alert. I dig legos, I dig smart scientists, but Stephen Hawking is actually kind of an ass that gets a pass on a lot of stuff because (a) he's a genius and (b) he has ALS. If it were a lego Linus Pauling (complete with lego vitamin C pills!), I would probably wet myself out of joy.
Pirates + Cat Macro = Peanut Butter Cups!
Peanut Butter Cups Alert....

Well, I know how I'm going to spend the day. (HINT: It's not going to be packing!)
Awwww....Charley Harper died. I love his work -- it's clean, modern and often depicts midwestern animal scenes, particularly birds. His work would get the official "peanut butter cup" tag for me. Here's an example:

Okay, first it was yesterday this morning with the Robot Chicken version of Star Wars. And now? A Hello Kitty Darth Vadar. How awesome is that?
From now on when I find something that combines two things I love, even if it's a completely idiosyncratic combination, I'm posting it here and giving it the tag "peanut butter cups".
I have been in the most crazy, nihilistic and borderline self-destructive mood lately, Gentle Reader. It's been fun! Really! I haven't felt like that in years. I don't know if I came out of some sort of low grade depression that I'd been in for a year or so OR WHAT, but ever since around March I've been....well, I don't want to say an emotional wreck, because that doesn't quite do it justice. It's more like I've had emotions.
Now it's transforming into a generally giddiness and it's all I can do to stop myself from (a) hopping in a car and driving towards the sunset, stopping only for gas and Mt. Dew, or (b) cutting off all my hair and dying what remains bright purplish blue. Whee! I think my mood can best be summed up by this snippet from my horoscope this morning:
Loaded for bear? Awesome.'Loose cannon' doesn't quite describe the way you're feeling -- but it's pretty darned close. That, and 'loaded for bear.'
Also, maybe it has something to do with my mood, but I let out a little squeal when I read about Robot Chicken: Star Wars this morning. June 17! Mark your calendars!
