Mark your calendars, kids....December 9, 2007 - The day tortuga started posted pictures of her tits on the Internet. It's all down hill from here, I'm afraid.
ETA: I'm so very, very tempted to change my FB status message to "tortuga is posting pictures of her tits on the Internet", but that probably wouldn't fly at work.
I don't know why I like webcomics so much, but I do. Probably because there's a short time commitment to them. Anyhoo, today I discovered Monkey Fluids. It's pretty awesome, very similar to Married to the Sea.
I am 90% sure I am throwing in the towel.
In other news, I listened to the Rocky Horror Picture Show Soundtrack on my drive back. Haven't heard it in years but still knew most of the words. Go me. I don't know what's wrong - besides the obvious answer of that I am losing my fucking mind - but I drove like the devil himself was after me on the way back to the city.
I wish I could go back to being the person I was about 10 years ago. She was tough. Maybe if I listen to enough Huffamoose, Marcy's Playground, PUSA, Cake and Supergrass I'll get myself there.
I'm going to go take a bath now and then spend the evening watching Footballers Wives. That show is teh awesome.
If you find this funny, then congratulations, you have clearly lost your damn fool head over a stupid comic strip and have gone so far as to find out personal information about the comic's creator in order to find some justification for the horrible plots and characters in the strip that you are not getting from obsessively reading the fictional characters' monthly letters. You are also probably not getting laid nearly enough.
For the record, I found it hilarious.
Especially the blinking.
So this weekend was something else. Any weekend that starts with your dad greasing a raccoon pretty much guarantees that things are going to be a little different, I guess. I actually did do some deep thinking, and have been toying with the idea of actually blogging these thoughts, but...I don't know. I don't feel like it just yet. So I guess I'm just going to fill 'er up with random crap. Yay!
ETA: Well, fuck it. I was trying to post one of the comics from here but it's not playing nice with Vox.
